Business Card Websites versus Broadsheet Websites
People you meet get your business card, because that way they can find you again.
You have to ask this question.
Can I personally meet every customer I will ever need?
If the answer to that question is “no”, then you need to read on.
If you pay someone to build you a website and then plan to just leave it at that, you have created a kind of business card.
You can refer people to it, but no one will ever find it on their own.
Try and search “toe nail clippers”. Google will return 750,000 results for that phrase.
Good darned luck trying to get found in that pile.
